Jack Whitehall has revealed that his girlfriend Roxy Horner collapsed at last year’s Brit Awards while hosting the ceremony.
The model and actress, 31, revealed she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2021.
But before she was diagnosed, Roxy had a health scare and had to be resuscitated by paramedics.
Jack told The Sun: ‘We found out she was diabetic the night I hosted the Brits. She had a so-called diabetic hypo and she passed out.
Paramedics tried to resuscitate her and her sugar levels rose dangerously.

“We ended up in the emergency room on Brits night, which definitely made for a slightly different after-party vibe.
A hypo, also called hypoglycaemia, is low blood sugar and occurs when the sugar (glucose) in the blood falls too low.
People struggling with diabetes need daily insulin injections to control your blood glucose levels.
Low blood sugar can be dangerous and cause brain death if not treated quickly.

She previously admitted she had a “difficult time” with the condition as she struggled to control her glucose levels.
Opening up to her 199,000 Instagram followers, she explained, “I’ve had a really hard time controlling my glucose levels these past few weeks, they’ve been yo-yoing for no reason.
“I throw up if I go too high and I’ve had a few too many hypos lately for my liking.
In March, Roxy praised Jack for being her “rock” in the midst of her type 1 diabetes diagnosis.
“Jack has been my absolute rock, he is so nice. He was there when I was diagnosed. My parents and my family live in Australia so he has been my family. We’re great,” she told The Sun.
She explained to the publication how her symptoms got worse during the pandemic, prompting her to seek medical advice.
“I felt extremely tired and exhausted for a long time, I had no energy. I couldn’t even go for a walk, it was exhausting, I felt like I was dying. I drank four to eight liters of water a day,” she recalls.
Despite “knowing there was something really wrong” with her body and having gone to the doctors several times, Roxy was not tested for diabetes because she did not meet the criteria.
The model went to the ER out of desperation, where she was eventually diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, which causes a person’s blood sugar to get too high.
The lovestruck couple have been dating for over two years now and live with their dog Coco in Jack’s £17.5 million, five-bed home in Notting Hill.

It comes after Jack revealed that his romance with Roxy started off awkwardly due to his choice of location on their first date.
He told the Mail On Sunday he didn’t know Roxy was vegan and took her on a first date to a Chinese restaurant decorated with dead ducks.
The comedian explained that they then went to a bar, which had a taxidermy theme.
“It was like something out of a sitcom,” Jack joked.
